At age 15, I cried out to God, “I don’t know who I am anymore. Help me.”
I was a reserved and anxious girl. I felt different than others, and I was made fun of for it. I tried to become someone I wasn’t in order to gain approval, and allowed my value to be based on my work. But that prayer started a journey of discovering who I was outside of my creativity and my upbringing: I discovered I was loved. Through this journey, I found my purpose. I’ve made it my goal to help others feel free to be authentically themselves, and embrace their growth into becoming who they are called to be.
I’ve animated award-winning short films, illustrated children’s books, spoken at events, shown in galleries, and freelanced for over 7 years. I take my passion for animation and storytelling and use it as a means to spread hope and encouragement to those who are struggling with their identity. Life is an adventure with ups and downs, and here I will show you mine.
Authentic. Genuine. Unashamed.
